Combining elements of positive and negative space, The Arch 01 by Danish artist NatasjaLykke transports simple architectural elements and textural materials into this graphically rich artwork. Acrylic paint defines the smooth architectural lines, with negative space revealing the raw canvas base on which she paints. Combing this textural backdrop with neutral tones in black, white and warm grey, a calming composition is formed.
