Copenhagen based Lithuanian artist Lolita Pelegrime brings to life a striking female figure in the art print Madame E. Set against a vibrant blue backdrop, the central character draped in yellow is caught shielding her face from the direct sun. Capturing this simple yet striking gesture, Pelegrime uses thick strokes of oil paint on canvas to build up her compositions – her process adding a high level of detail and depth that helps capture a moment caught in time.
