Akuart are striving to pursue the highest standards possible in the acoustical industry and their sound absorbing panels are among the most powerful wall absorbers on the market. They are meticulously tailored to secure optimal surroundings for speaking and listening – absorbing sound effectively in a broad frequency range from 125 Hz to 4.000 Hz. This means that everything from low frequency sounds (bass drum, thunder, deep male voice) to high frequency sounds (high-pitched whistle, squeal, a child’s voice) are attenuated when hitting the surface of a 50 mm Akuart panel.
The sound absorbing panels comes in two variations – Home 30 mm and Home 50 mm. HOME 30 is a discreet and elegant solution that effectively regulates high and sharp tones. HOME 50 is extra efficient regulation is needed. HOME 50 is also ideal when it comes to attenuating sounds over a wide frequency range, because the sound-absorbing panel effectively absorbs the sound energy hitting its surface.
When you experience challenges with the sound at high frequencies and therefore need to reduce sharp and high tones primarily caused by ordinary speech, loud children’s voices and clinking cutlery and crockery. HOME 30 is also relevant for interior design reasons, if you prefer a slim frame that does not protrude too far from the wall.
You most likely live in a home with predominantly hard surfaces. Your floors may be tiled, your wall surfaces are either water-scrubbed, made of plaster or concrete, the window sections are large and the decor is generally minimalist. It is the sum of these hard sound-reflecting surfaces combined with sound energy in, for example, ordinary conversation, children’s voices, clinking plates, televisions, deep male voices, sound bars, hi-fi systems, etc., which causes problems with sound over a wide frequency range. It results in sound that is thrown back into the room and oscillates inappropriately between the floor, walls and ceiling surfaces, and which is typically experienced as echo, resounding and noise.
